Principal's Message

Dear Elkhart High School Parents and Community,

As principal of Elkhart High School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back as we prepare for another exciting and successful school year. We are thrilled to reunite with our students and continue our mission of academic excellence and personal growth. The students of the Elkhart community are truly exceptional, and we are proud to support them as they prepare for post-secondary education, meaningful careers, and active citizenship.

At Elkhart High School, we are committed to Excellence, and providing the Leadership, Knowledge, and Skills our students need for a successful and fulfilling life. We are fortunate to have an outstanding team of educators who are dedicated to student success. Our teachers work tirelessly to create engaging, innovative lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.

We invite you to join us in this important work by supporting our teachers, staff, and most importantly, our students. Together, we can continue building a culture of high expectations, encouragement, and achievement.

Our students exceeded state averages on last year’s End-of-Course exams, and our Dual Credit, CTE, and Fine Arts programs continue to grow and thrive. Our co-curricular programs are already gearing up for another dynamic year. It’s a great time to be an Elkhart Elk!

I am truly honored and excited to serve as the principal of Elkhart High School. It is a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students work together to foster academic excellence and meaningful relationships. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at (903) 764-5161 or via email at bmcenturff@elkhartisd.org.

Let’s make it another great year—ANTLERS UP and GO ELKS!

Sincerely,

Brandi McEnturff
Principal, Elkhart High School
