Congrats to Anthony Barber, Aaron Crawford, Eliana Garcia, Hannah Harris, Luis Lopez, Kollin Peiffer, Oliver Terrell, Tara Tidrow and Sarah Vaughn for performing at the UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest and earning a 1^st Division medal!  In addition, Anthony Barber, Hannah Harris, Luis Lopez, Kollin Peiffer, Oliver Terrell and Sarah Vaughn qualified for the UIL Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest in Kyle, TX in late May.  Great job, guys…

Our next big upcoming event is truly a big one...our UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest on Thursday, March 5 in Groesbeck.  This is the last full band UIL event of the year!!  We have been working so hard since we’ve come back from the Winter Break with section rehearsals and classtime rehearsals and the band is in a really good place.  Wish us luck!!

After UIL C&SR, it’s Spring Break...Spring Concert...Graduation – really all downhill!!!  It’s been a great year!!
