UIL Region 8 Marching Contest
***No Early Morning Rehearsal***
When: October 14, 2026
Where: Troy HS; Troy, TX
Meet: Beginning of 3rd Period
Perform: 3:45pm
Return: approximately 8:00pm (pick up in FRONT of EHS)
What to Wear/Bring: Full Band Uniform
Instrument, Water Jug, money for snacks in Fairfield
EHS @ Blooming Grove
We are Performing PREGAME!
When: October 16, 2026
Where: Lion Stadium; Blooming Grove, Tx
Meet: 3:00pm in the Circle
3:30pm - load the BEAST
5:30pm - unload the BEAST at the Stadium
Return: 11:45pm (pickup in FRONT of HS)
What to Wear/Bring: Full Band Uniform
Music, Instrument, Water Jug
BOOSTERS TO PROVIDE 3RD QUARTER MEAL
EHS vs. Teague
When: October 23, 2026
Where: Jerry Ives Memorial Stadium; Elkhart, TX
Meet: 5:00pm in the Circle
5:30pm - load the BEAST
6:00pm - unload the BEAST at the Stadium
Return: 10pm (pickup at the Stadium)
What to Wear/Bring: Full Band Uniform,
Music, Instrument, Water Jug
EHS vs. Buffalo (Senior Night)
8th Grade Band Members are invited to play in the stands
When: October 30, 2026
Where: Jerry Ives Memorial Stadium; Elkhart, TX
Meet: 4:00pm in the Circle
4:30pm - load the BEAST
5:00pm – Eat some Brisket sandwiches at the Middle School
6:00pm - unload the BEAST at the Stadium
Return: 10pm (pickup at the Stadium)
What to Wear/Bring: Full Band Uniform,

Hot Pepper Festival Parade
When: October 31, 2026
Where: Palestine, TX
Meet: TBA
Return: Approximately 12:00 Noon, pickup in front of EHS
What to Wear/Bring:
School appropriate costume OR Full Band Uniform, Instrumet, Music

Where: Bulldog Stadium; Rice, Tx
Meet: 3:30pm in the Circle
4:00pm - load the BEAST
