Principal’s Message

As principal of Elkhart High School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back to school as we prepare for another awesome year.  We are excited once again to reassemble as a team with the students of the Elkhart community.   The students at Elkhart High School are among the best and we are very proud and excited to do our part in preparing them for the demands of post-secondary education, meaningful careers and effective citizenship.

“At Elkhart High School we are committed to Excellence.  Our goal is to provide our students with the Leadership skills and Knowledge needed to have a life full of Success.”  We believe that we have great teachers who truly care about our students.  Our teachers spend hours planning and creating classroom activities that provide our students with innovative and exciting learning opportunities.  We ask that you join us in fulfilling our mission this year through your support of our teachers, paraprofessionals, and most importantly our students.

We are excited to announce that we were once again chosen by U.S. News and World Reports as one of the Best High Schools in Texas for the 5th year in a row.  We were also chosen as the Palestine Herald Press Readers Choice - Best High School - for the second year in a row.  Our students performed well above state averages on last year's End-of-Course exams.  Our Dual Credit, CTE,  and Fine Arts programs continue to expand and grow each year.  Our Co-Curricular programs are currently preparing for another awesome year.  Great things are happening at Elkhart High School and it is a great time to be an Elk!

I am honored to serve as the principal of Elkhart High School.  It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.  Please feel free to contact me at (903)764-5161 or at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.  Let’s have another great year in Elkhart together!  GO ELKS!!!
