ss onThis is my First-year teaching here at Elkhart and I could not be more excited to be an Elk! I previously taught at Westwood ISD for 3 years. I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman and a Close Quarters Battle Instructor. After the military I started my career in Law Enforcement. During my career I was able to hold numerous assignments such as a Detective, SWAT Instructor, Gang Intelligence Officer, Undercover Officer, and a Law Enforcement Academy Instructor. I was also fortunate enough to be selected to be a part of the FBI Terrorist Task Force and part of the Homeland Security Fugitive Task Force. I attended Sam Houston State University. I obtained a degree in History with a minor in Criminal Justice & Psychology. I was born and raised in the Houston area and attended Oak Ridge high school. I am married to my high school sweetheart and have 3 kiddos. My wife is a Nurse and teaches at Westwood High. My oldest daughter graduated last year and will be attending SFA in the Fall. My younger 2, Addi and Cole both attend Elkhart ISD. I am passionate about teaching and about Criminal Justice.  I am super excited to pass on my experiences and knowledge to my students.  my
