I have been teaching science at Elkhart High School for about 30+ years. I attended Texas A & M University and have a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. I currently teach Chemistry, PreAP Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology and Honors Anatomy and Physiology. Prior to coming to Elkhart, I worked for the US Forest Service for a number of years planting trees, fighting fires and monitoring an endangered species of woodpecker. I have two grown sons and I live in Grapeland with my husband who owns The Sportsman's Memory Shop Taxidermy Studio.
