What are esports?
Esports, short for electronic sports, is a collective term that describes organized competitive video gaming, where individuals use video game consoles, PC’s, or mobile phones to play popular video game titles against other esports teams.
While this may seem like another fun thing to do, eSports is actually a highly competitive field and can also be rewarding to the students. Many colleges have established eSports teams and leagues. They often recruit students to their teams and even offer scholarships.
This will be Elkhart's inaugural outing in the field of eSports. We will compete in the fall and spring leagues against other esports teams from other High Schools.
