About Coach Morris
I am the Athletic Trainer for the high school and junior high. I will also be teaching two periods of Principles of Health Science. This is my 6th year as an athletic trainer and my second teaching in the classroom.

I was born and raised in Palestine, TX, graduating from Palestine High School. I attended the University of Texas at Arlington and received my Bachelors degree in Athletic Training with a teaching cert. I then spent a year as an assistant athletic trainer at El Campo ISD.

From there I went to Northwestern State University where I worked as the athletic trainer for the men's and women's cross country teams and track and field teams as well as helping out with the football and baseball teams. I received my Masters in Sports Administration before taking a head athletic trainer position at Kemp ISD for the past two years.

I am excited to be back home and I look forward to a wonderful (maybe different) year at Elkhart!

GO ELKS and LADY ELKS!!!
