My name is Christi Trevino and I teach Geometry. This is my 28th year teaching and my 16th year here at Elkhart ISD. I absolutely LOVE Sudoku puzzles and any kind of math! I've been married to my husband, Rick, for 32 years. He is a software engineer for a major company in California and gets to work from home. We have one daughter, Annalisa, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from UT Tyler in May of 2024. Currently, she works part-time and is preparing for the LSAT (the test to get into law school), and then she's off to law school! She also got married in November 2023.
I've known that I wanted to be a teacher since I was eight years old. I graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 1990 and then taught 6th grade for five years. I took a short break from teaching kids to work for a health insurance company where I taught adults. It was very different in the corporate world and eventually, I really missed the kids. So after five years of teaching adults, I went back to teaching kids and I've never looked back.
