Welcome to a new school year at Elkhart High School. This is my twentieth year at Elkhart, and my twenty-second year teaching high school. I graduated from Tyler Junior College and Stephen F. Austin State University, with my AAS in Land Surveying & Mapping and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry respectively. In May 2013, I graduated from the University of Texas–Arlington with a Master’s in Education. After completing an alternative certification program with the Region 7 Education Service Center in Kilgore, I obtained my teacher's certificate, including six hours of graduate-level coursework from the University of Texas at Tyler. I completed additional AP US History training through the College Board and UT Tyler.
