Tell me and I forget.  Teach me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn.  Benjamin Franklin

I am excited to teach Principals of Education and Child development. this year.  A positive and safe learning environment is important to me.  I am a mom of three beautiful children and a dedicated teacher at heart.  In 1999, I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce. I have my masters degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration. Life long learning is a critical element in our daily lives.  I will have high expectations for all students and hope to instill in them that learning can be fun, rewarding and lead to success in many different areas of life.
I am also the varsity cheer sponsor and I am looking forward to cheering on the ELKS!  I believe being involved in high school sports, academic teams and clubs are a great way to enjoy one of the best times of your life.  Looking forward to a great year.
