Hello! I’m Kristin Steely, and this is my 8th year teaching Life Skills at Elkhart High School. I’m also the Interact Sponsor and a member of the Palestine Rotary Club.
My husband Chad, who currently serves on our school board, works for Palestine Regional Medical Center E.M.S. as a medic. We have now been together for 17 amazing years, in which we could have never seen the many blessings bestowed upon us and those yet to come.
As a mother of two rambunctious little boys, named Camden and Ashton, anytime that I am not at soccer I try to explore new places and jump at the opportunity to travel. I feel being a part of the Elkhart Independent School District is a new adventure each day. I am looking forward to enjoying another year with my students and leading our Interact Club to find new projects to help serve our community and most of all working together as part of the Elkhart team.
My Educational background includes an Associate’s Degree from TVCC as an EMT-Paramedic, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University to later on pursuing an administrative role.
