TSI EXAM
Testing dates and locations for the TSI exam may be found on the link below.  This is the college entrance exam that has replaced the THEA, and any student considering dual credit MUST pass this test before signing up for those courses.  The exam is given at Elkhart ISD various days each month.
 
 
 
COLLEGE PREPARATION

Elkhart High School is proud to provide a complete college and career portal to all students.  This online portfolio may be accessed and customized via the following link:

Each EHS student is provided with a unique username and password in order to access his/her portfolio.  Throughout the academic year, Mrs. Stanaland, Mrs. McEnturff and numerous teachers will help guide students through various components of the portal in order to help them better understand and prepare for life after high school.

The sites below will allow electronic submission of admission applications to all participating colleges and universities.  The online applications provide time-saving opportunities that allow collegiate institutions to effectively and efficiently import the student information.

The government site below provides the tools necessary and access to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  This process qualifies a student for federal aid and is required by most colleges and universities to measure financial need.  The application determines qualification for scholarships, grants, loans and other forms of federal aid awarded to students each year.

FAFSA Opens October 1st!

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid for students entering college in the fall of 2019 will be available October 1. Filling it out is the first step in accessing the largest source of federal, state and college financial aid. It is important for EVERY senior to fill out a FAFSA in order to take advantage of all need and merit based financial aid available.

Elkhart ISD will pay for one administration of the ACT or SAT per student. Students will need to complete a registration application for the desired test date and turn it in to Coach Huff before the school-pay deadline listed in the link below.  If there are questions regarding the registration form or school-pay dates, please contact Coach Huff in person or via email at [email protected].
